I am going to tell you a story
Since 2021 Digital Stories have been created by Tr’ondëk Hwë'chin Youth, adults and Elders, working together in various locations on our traditional territory: Cache Creek, Nänkäk Ch’ëholąy (Land of Plenty), Hätrʼunohtän Zho (Robert Service School), Äłät Nëhëjël (TH Hall), and K’äjit-In Zho (Youth Centre).

Hätrʼunohtän Zho (Robert Service School) & Nänkäk Ch’ëholąy (Land of Plenty)
Our most recent Digital Storytelling workshop, the first week was dedicated to the Youth and their stories at RSS, and the second week was dedicated to the Elders and the knowledge they wanted to share at Land of Plenty.
June 2023. Cache Creek
This week-long workshop was held out at Cache Creek in June of 2023 where Youth and Elders made Digital Stories and even a few documentaries about the week. Traditional learning also happened out at camp, including fishing, archery and blanket toss.
February 2023. K’äjit-In Zho (Youth Center)
Our second Intergenerational Digital Storytelling workshop in February took place with Students, Staff, Elders and community members. To date the most videos created in 1 week! Once completed we did a Community Feast and Screening — it was so popular that it was standing room only!
